The Prince of Peace Catholic Church Knights of Columbus will sponsor a Friday fish fry at the church in Deasy Hall from 6-7:30-p.m. There is no charge; however, a free will offering is appreciated. Plan to stay after dinner to play Bingo!

Fish Fry
Knights of Columbus Council 3989 will hold a Fish Fry at St. Joseph Regional Catholic School, beginning at 4:15 p.m. and ending at 6:45 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for children ages 4-6 and will be available in the school cafeteria. The menu for dine in or carry out includes catfish filets, hush puppies, cole slaw, baked potatoes, French fries, and dessert. Cheese pizza will be available for children. All proceeds go to the council’s charity endeavors. The school is located at 115 Plum Street in Florence. The remaining fish fry date is March 24.

Our Lady of Fatima Guild Meeting
The Our Lady of Fatima Guild at St. Mark the Evangelist Church will meet at 10 a.m. in the Youth Center Coffee Cafe. As the guild is rooted in prayer and service, it promotes the First Saturday devotion and supports the parish Family and Youth Ministry. Marriage Encounter Weekend
The next Marriage Encounter Weekend in the Diocese of Birmingham will take place at St. Bernard Abbey in Cullman. Come to share the gift of love, connection, and sacrifice with your spouse the Lent. The application fee is $100, which is required. However, donations will be requested at the end of the weekend to cover room and board. Cursillo School of Leaders
The diocesan Cursillo Movement will host its monthly School of Leaders meeting from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. This month's meeting will be held virtually using Zoom. The Cursillo School of Leaders (SoL) is for Cursillistas who wish to serve and strengthen the movement. The school is currently studying and discussing various chapters of the Leaders’ Manual. Lenten Parish Mission
Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Huntsville will host Kyle Clement for a Lenten Parish Mission, discussing Catholic Identity. Clement is a defender of the Catholic faith and spiritual warrior whose talks are both inspiring and challenging. He instructs the lay faithful with practical information on different aspects of Christian life and spiritual warfare. On Tuesday, the mission will have two sessions: 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. The next day, March 15, the mission will begin at 5:30 p.m. On Thursday, one session will begin at 10 a.m. and the second one will start at 5:30 p.m. The church is located at 625 Airport Road, Southwest in Huntsville.

St. Joseph’s Altar
The Italian American Heritage Society will host its annual St. Joseph's Altar, starting at 1 p.m. in the social hall of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. Everyone is invited to attend and bring a meatless dish to share in two disposable pans (there are two food lines, one for each). Donations and prayer requests will be taken at the front desk. The donations will be divided between the Center of Concern and the Dominican Monastery of St. Jude. For further information call Mary Jo Fritts at 205-222-3443. St. Paul’s Class of 1963 reunion
A joint St. Paul’s and St. Augustine Class of 1963 60th Reunion will take place Saturday, March 25 at the location of St. Paul’s School, which is now known as the Cathedral of St. Paul Life Center. St. Mark the Evangelist Knights of Columbus Spring Flea Market
The St. Mark's Spring Flea Market benefits the Women of St. Mark, intellectual disabilities programs, pregnancy centers, Catholic education, and many more deserving efforts. Items for sale include furniture, tools, toys, clothes, and much more. The market will be open from noon until 7 p.m. On Friday, the market will be open from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., and on Saturday, April 1, the market will be open from 7 a.m. until noon. The flea market will be held in St. Mark’s youth center, located at 7340 Cahaba Valley Road in Birmingham.
