On Jan. 31, St. John Paul II Catholic High School’s boys 4x800 relay team became state champions for the 2025 indoor track season during the State Indoor Championship at Birmingham’s Crossplex. Under the leadership of coaches Steve Zibas and Stephen Boyer, the performance of Tom Custodio, Zach Merrick, Caleb Noletto, and Joey Yates also set a new school record.
