Hoover’s Prince of Peace Catholic Church recently celebrated as 96 children of the parish received their First Holy Communion. Father Jon Chalmers, pastor, celebrated the sacrament on May 10. In addition, Father Jose Luis, associate pastor, celebrated the sacrament on April 26, May 4, and May 11, totaling 84 children from the parish’s Hispanic religious education program receiving their First Communion.
