Red Cross Blood Drive surpasses goal
Our Lady of Sorrows Church’s (OLS) parishioner and Knights of Columbus leader Clark Tucker relaxes as an American Red Cross phlebotomist draws his blood during a successful blood drive at the church on Nov. 14. Thirty-three units were collected, exceeding the 30-unit goal. The Red Cross reports there is a constant need for blood. OLS parishioner and Knights of Columbus member John Corso, who led the project, said he is grateful for the teamwork of brother knights, their spouses, and others in the parish and the community at large for making the five-hour blood drive a success.
