In memory of the late Deacon Walter Henderson, a prayer vigil for an end to gun violence was held at Holy Family Cristo Rey High School in Birmingham on Nov. 12. In the last few years of his life, the deacon spearheaded an effort to bring the Rosary to area churches to pray for an end to gun violence. May Deacon Walter rest in peace.
