Taking part in the Catholic Charities Appeal pledge weekend is a tradition at Our Lady of Sorrows Church (OLS) in Homewood. Pastor Rev. Msgr. Martin M. Muller thanks parishioners as they bring forth pledge cards during the 8:30 a.m. Mass on Sept. 26. It is the practice at OLS for members to process to the front of the church to turn in their cards. Msgr. Muller has said that the procession emphasizes the importance of the pledges in assisting God’s work.
