St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Montevallo celebrated the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe with processions after Mass on Sunday, Dec. 10, and Tuesday, Dec. 12. Led by a group of men carrying a statue of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the processions included parishioners praying the Rosary and singing praises to the patron saint of the Americas, along with dance groups, called matachines, dressed in traditional costumes and headdresses.
