OLS School spreads Christmas joy in Homewood Parade

Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic School students enjoyed participating in the Homewood Christmas Parade portraying a Live Nativity scene. The handmade manger constructed with cedar wood, complete with hay and a brightly shining star included students dressed as Mary and Joseph, beautiful little angels, an inspiring shepherd, wisemen and cute little barn animals. An additional float full of school spirit carried the school’s cheerleaders. The floats were accompanied by additional students and parents who followed the caravan in support of the festivities. Volunteers Anna Brannon and Alisha Dahle organized the school volunteers who decorated the floats and distributed the costumes for the children. Everyone who participated was excited to spread Christmas joy to the onlookers that lined the streets of the city.
