St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Birmingham held the OCIA Rite of Acceptance and Welcome on the first Sunday of Advent. The group processed into the church at the beginning of Mass, and during the rite, they received the sign of the cross from Father Joe Culotta, pastor, and a crucifix from their sponsor.
