The Knights of Columbus Council 11672 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Huntsville hosted a Mardi Gras party on Friday, Feb. 9. Traditional foods offered included red beans and rice, jambalaya, gumbo, king cakes, and Mississippi mud cake. The Good Shepherd youth group, led by Angie Lefevre, had a traditional parade complete with beads and moon pies. Proceeds were given to the pro-life baby basket ministry at the parish.
