Over 200 couples from parishes throughout the diocese gathered at the Shrine of the Blessed Sacrament in Hanceville for a Couples and Marriage Retreat organized by the Office of Hispanic Ministry. Love never fails was the theme of the retreat. The day included spiritual talks about the essence of the sacrament of marriage, the role of the man and the woman based on sacred scripture, healing past wounds, forgiveness, and natural family planning. Confessions were heard, and the retreat concluded with adoration, inviting couples to surrender their relationship, family, and marriage to the heart of Jesus.
