After taking a year off due to the COVID pandemic, over 300 parishioners were excited to gather on the campus of Mercy Parish in Madison for their annual parish picnic held Sunday, Sept. 26. With perfect weather that included blue skies and mild temperatures, the picnic also included activities for all ages, group games, burgers cooked by the Knights of Columbus, and lots of laughter and fun! It was also a wonderful opportunity to meet the many new faces and families that have chosen to make Mercy Parish their home during the past year. Hosted by the Social Ministry, volunteers from many parish ministries worked together to make this event extra special after such a prolonged absence from a normal routine.
