Local student is West Point bound

Lilah Ross, a member of St. John Paul II Catholic High School’s Class of 2024, earned an appointment to the United States Military Academy West Point with a spot on the USMA Rabble Rousers Cheer team. Ross belongs to the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta (Math NHS), the Green Team, Garden Club, Catholic Relief Services, Retreat Team, and JPII Dive. She is also a school ambassador with a 4.3 GPA and 110 service hours completed. Outside of school, Ross is a successful cheerleader and gymnast. She had the privilege of being selected for the West Point Summer Leadership, Air Force Summer Seminar, and Military Order of World Wars (MOWW). Upon graduation from West Point, she will serve her country for five or more years as a military officer.
