A multitude of packed blue fabric grocery bags surrounded the altar at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Homewood as parishioners showed their Thanksgiving kindness for the eighth year in a row. The bags, filled with donated food, toiletries, and cleaning supplies, will go to help the Catholic Center of Concern. The charitable project was coordinated by the Immaculate Heart of Mary Guild.
