John Carroll Catholic High School held its 17th Kairos retreat on Oct. 24-27 at the St. Bernard Abbey Retreat Center in Cullman. The four-day retreat saw 42 seniors spending time away from their busy lives to deepen their love of each other and their understanding of God and His timing. Based on Ignatian Spirituality, Kairos is a national retreat that came to John Carroll in the fall of 2015 and has since become a highly anticipated senior tradition, challenging hundreds of students to "live the fourth."
