The Italian-American Heritage Society celebrated St. Joseph’s Day with a beautiful altar created by members. Over 350 people celebrated together at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church Social Hall in Birmingham on March 20. Everyone of Italian heritage is invited to join the society. Meetings are held at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church’s Parish Center at 2 p.m. The next scheduled meetings are: May 15, June 12, July 10, Aug. 14 and Sept. 11.
