In March, the Hispanic Youth Group from Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Huntsville hosted their first retreat at the Maranatha Conference Center. The retreat emphasized what love truly is and how to follow Christ and imitate His sacrificial love for us through sharing our Catholic faith with others in service. The weekend provided space for peers to connect in small groups through prayer, play, and praise, including an evening of the sacrament of reconciliation and Eucharistic Adoration. The retreat concluded with Mass at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, where the teens were greeted by parents with bouquets or flowers and balloons to welcome them home and honor the time away growing in faith and fellowship.
