The Diocese of Birmingham hosted the region 4 Conference for the Hispanic Charismatic Renewal on Aug. 24 and 25. Conference speakers included Bishop Jacques E. Fabre-Jeune, C.S., from Charleston, SC; Father Patricio Rozzo-Monsalva, pastor at St. Joseph Church in Ensley and spiritual director of the Hispanic Diocesan Charismatic Renewal; Friar Manuel Aviles from Harrisburg, PA; and Deacon Jose Chirinos from the Archdiocese of Miami. Over 400 people from the dioceses and archdioceses in region 4 attended the conference.
