On Sunday, May 1, during the 8:30 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Pell City, five children received their First Communion. Father Bill Lucas, pastor, celebrated the Mass and Deacon Serge Brazzolotto assisted. The parish’s First Communion teachers are Brenda Rochford and Mary Burns and the Director or Religious Education is Jim Mathis.
