Father Jon Chalmers, pastor of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Hoover, welcomed a group of newly-confirmed Catholics at the 11 a.m. Mass on April 28. This is the church’s 13th Becoming Catholic class to join the Catholic Church since the program launched in 2019. Under the leadership of Dr. Dale Wisely and his team, 170 adults have been brought into the Catholic Church. These individuals attended weekly classes, studied throughout the week, and experienced a special pre-confirmation retreat. This group began their studies in January of 2024.
