Bishop Emeritus Robert J. Baker conferred the sacrament of confirmation at Our Lady of the Shoals Catholic Church in Tuscumbia on April 4. Confirmands from Our Lady of the Shoals received the sacrament from Bishop Baker. Also receiving the sacrament were confirmands from St. Joseph Catholic Church in Florence and St. Michael Catholic Church in St. Florian.
