Civil Rights pilgrimage

Over the past two years, Christian Brothers College High School in St. Louis, MO, and other schools within the Archdiocese of St. Louis have taken a pilgrimage trip to Alabama. On the trip, students travel through Montgomery and Birmingham, with each day contributing to the three steps to making a change: learning history, learning how faith helped provide hope, and learning how leaders took action. During their time in Birmingham this year, the students met with Deacon Jacky Rodgers of St. Mary Catholic Church in Fairfield and James Watts, director of the diocese’s Office of Black Catholic Ministry.
