Students of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic School in Homewood participated in a school-wide May procession and crowning of the Blessed Mother as a part of their weekday Mass. The children processed to the front of the church carrying flowers and placing them in vases before the statue of Mary. Following the procession, one of the kindergarten classes led the Mass. The next week the other kindergarten class prepared another beautiful school liturgy, where they honored all mothers before Mother’s Day.
