Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church Adult Education participants gather around guest speakers Eric Dooley and Ginny Dooley (second and third from the left) after they shared a behind the scenes look at the historical drama The Chosen which presents the life of Jesus as seen through the eyes of His followers. The Dooleys were part of the season two finale entitled “Beyond Mountains,” in which they were part of the multitude gathering for the Sermon on the Mount. On Feb. 12 the couple spoke of the spiritual and emotional experience of meeting the actors and other extras, as well as how extreme cold and COVID protocols affected the production that was shot in February 2021. The Dooleys are parishioners: Ginny was the OLS youth minister for about a decade and Eric is the developer of the Catholify app. OLS Adult Education members have watched and discussed the first two seasons of The Chosen and look forward to season three.
