Adult education starts the new year focusing on the Eucharist

Members of Our Lady of Sorrows’ adult education kicked off 2024 by learning about and viewing an exhibit on worldwide Eucharistic miracles. The display and talk on Jan. 7 were courtesy of parishioner Bo Lovell (center), coordinator of perpetual eucharistic adoration at the parish. The session launched the new focus for the winter-spring session of adult education in honor of year two of the National Eucharistic Revival: Year of the Parish. Interested adults and teens are invited to attend on Sundays in the Parish Hall. Fellowship and light refreshments are at 9:45 a.m. and classes start at 10 a.m. Future classes include watching a video series about the Eucharist and sharing in discussions. The semester will end with a talk highlighting the wisdom of Venerable Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen regarding the Eucharist. The church is located at 1728 Oxmoor Road, across the street from the Homewood Library.
