Spring Hill College looks forward to annual Give Day
Founded in 1830, Spring Hill College is the oldest Catholic college in the Southeast, the only Catholic college in Alabama, and the third oldest Jesuit college in the United States. Located in Mobile, Spring Hill’s mission is to form leaders engaged in learning, faith, justice, and service for life.
Tuesday, March 18, will mark the college’s 10-year anniversary of its annual Give Day. This 24-hour online fundraising event began in 2015 thanks to Erinn Vogel and Megan St. Germain who were communication arts students at the time. Their vision has grown in notoriety and participation having raised over $2.5 million since its inception.
To help champion Spring Hill’s mission for the next 200 years, the college is looking forward to this year’s Give Day. Making a gift is easy by either visiting https://www.givecampus.com/schools/SpringHillCollege/give-day-2025 or calling 251-380-2280. Local partners throughout the community are also teaming up to help the day be a success. By visiting and mentioning the campaign the partners will donate a percentage of sales to Spring Hill. The partners include POST on The Hill, POST Downtown, Cedar Street Social, Insider Food Hall, Outsider Sports Lounge, EmpaNola, and Magnolia Soap and Bath Co.
The day will also feature a Give Day Happy Hour at POST on The Hill from 5-7 p.m. An invitation will be posted on the Spring Hill College National Alumni Association page.
The college is located at 4000 Dauphin Street. To learn more about Spring Hill, please visit www.shc.edu.
