Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Cropwell recently launched their annual baby bottle drive to benefit Ann's New Life Pregnancy Medical Center, a local pro-life facility. The drive will conclude Sunday, Feb. 25, with the Shower of Blessings event at 10 a.m. To mark the completion of the fundraiser, the event will feature Michelle Schachle, mother of Michael "Mikey" McGivney Schachle. She will share the story of her son’s miraculous healing after seeking the intercession of Father Michael McGivney, founder of the Knights of Columbus. The miracle, which was approved by Pope Francis on May 27, 2020, helped lead to Father McGiney’s beatification on Oct. 31, 2020.
