Holy Spirit students enter the Church
Holy Spirit Regional Catholic School in Huntsville was blessed to accompany four students as they entered the Catholic Church this past school year.
Eighth grader Jordan Terrell began her time at Holy Spirit in the 7th grade. She received her First Communion at a school Mass, and she received the sacrament of confirmation with her fellow 8th grade students in April.
Eighth grader Emma Ashbaugh also began her time at Holy Spirit in the 7th grade. She was baptized, confirmed, and received her First Communion at Holy Spirit Church’s Easter Vigil Mass.
Fifth and sixth grade sisters Lainey and Kinley Lee began their time at Holy Spirit in 4th and 5th grade, respectively. They were baptized and received their First Communion at Holy Spirit Church’s Easter Vigil Mass. They joyfully await full communion with the Catholic Church through the sacrament of confirmation when they are 8th graders.
Each of these students expressed how their faith grew throughout their time at Holy Spirit and their joy in receiving the sacraments. Holy Spirit School extends gratitude to its catechists who have supported and encouraged the faith in these and all of its students. Catholic education is one of the most significant and effective apostolic ministries within the Church. There are few better ways to spread the faith, especially to our children.
Please pray for these students as they continue their journeys of faith.
