Holy Spirit School honors Active-Duty Military students

Holy Spirit Regional Catholic School in Huntsville continues its work as a Purple Star School in support of active-duty military families. Throughout the 2024-2025 school year, Holy Spirit facilitated several programs benefiting students of military families.

Active-duty military students enjoyed a field trip to a Huntsville Havoc hockey game and a Trash Pandas baseball game. In April, the Month of the Military Child, all Holy Spirit students were encouraged to wear purple on Purple Up Day to demonstrate their support of their active-duty military peers. On April 25, active-duty military students were honored at a special school Mass followed by a reception.

The school will continue to uphold its commitment to the military community in gratitude for the sacrifices made by American heroes, their spouses, and their children.
