53rd St. William Seafood Festival

St. William Catholic Church in Guntersville will hold their 53rd annual Seafood Festival Friday, Sept. 1, and Saturday, Sept. 2, featuring Cajun boiled shrimp, hot or frozen gumbo, catfish and grilled chicken dinners, and Monk’s Bread from St. Bernard Abbey in Cullman. Hushpuppies, coleslaw, and sweet items will also be available for purchase. Drive-thru purchases on Friday will begin at 4 p.m. and conclude at 6 p.m. Sales on Saturday will start at 7 a.m. Please note that Boiled Cajun shrimp and frozen quarts of gumbo will be the only items available in drive-thru. However, all menu items will be available Saturday inside the Foley Center. When all the food is sold out on Saturday will mark the end of the event, usually before 2 p.m. The Foley Center is located 915 Gunter Avenue.
