Last year, Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Huntsville hosted the first annual Diocese of Birmingham Seminarian Dinner. The event raised over $50,000 for the diocesan Seminarian Education Fund, with the help of sponsors which included Knights of Columbus J. Stice Insurance Agency, Holy Spirit’s Knights of Columbus Council #764, Kelly Hoang, Rey and Cynthia Almodavar, COLSA Corporation, Holy Spirit’s Knights of Columbus Council #764 Ladies Auxiliary, the Nicholas Family, Mike and Erika Schultz, St. John the Baptist’s Knights of Columbus Council #10232, Father Jeremiah F. Trecy Knights of Columbus Assembly 4, and Peter and Michelle Vevon.

This year, the parish will again host the dinner in support of the diocese’s Seminarian Education Fund. Seminarians of the diocese and Bishop Raica will be the honored guests at the June 5 event. All are invited to attend. Tickets for the general public are $125 per person, but please note that only 180 tickets are available. For more information, please e-mail kgordon1775@gmail.com.
