Women’s reproductive healthcare satellite opens in Alabama

The year 2022 marks several firsts for the State of Alabama in regards to women’s health services. Reproductive Health Medicine & Gynecology (RHM) of Atlanta, Ga opened a satellite clinic in the community of Gardendale. RHM provides 100% pro-life/pro-woman restorative healthcare for gynecological, reproductive, and fertility health needs.

Another first for Alabama is the donation of an ultrasound machine to a medical practice by the Knights of Columbus. Up until now, the ultrasounds were placed in crisis pregnancy centers. RHM having the unique ability to offer the Abortion Pill Reversal protocol, allowed the clinic to be a recipient.

The clinic’s approach honors the teachings of the Catholic Church by focusing on women’s ovulatory pattern and restoring healthy physiological function without using contraception (or any option deemed illicit by Catholic teaching).

They believe the opportunity to understand one’s body as a fundamental right that every woman should have.

By way of illustration, the clinic does not suppress hormone function, as in the case of contraception, and they do not bypass normal function, as with in vitro fertilization (IVF). Instead, they help women understand and manage their natural cycles. Moreover, RHM serves women throughout their reproductive continuum, from puberty through menopause, considering the whole person and promoting the dignity of every human being. By so doing, RHM strengthens the health and well-being of patients, families, and the community.

The new satellite clinic is located at 1326 Main Street, Suite 116 in Gardendale.

RHM is a 501C3 non-profit organization and, as such, is continuously seeking donors and organizations such as the Knights of Columbus to help with funding. If interested in assisting the clinic or in making an appointment, call 770-450-8677 or visit Rhmgyn.com.
