Wedding vow renewal held at Huntsville parish

On Feb. 14 during the Vigil Mass, over thirty couples from St. Joseph Catholic Church in Huntsville stood to renew their wedding vows in front of the congregation. The couples pledged their commitment to their marriage vows and love for each other. The couples had been married for a combined total of over 1,100 years! Pastor Father Joseph Lubrano, S.D.S., presided. At the conclusion of Mass, Father Lubrano had all couples married 25 years or longer, come to the front of the church and stand near the altar for a group photo. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Bayer of Huntsville had the honor of being married the longest at 69 years. A reception for the entire parish followed Mass.
