John Carroll Catholic High School (JCCHS) varsity boys soccer team won the 5A state championship with an 8-1 victory over Gulf Shores on May 13. Prior to the soccer match, the team attended Mass at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Huntsville. Father Tim Pfander, pastor, spoke with the team about sportsmanship and the opportunity to represent JCCHS and the Catholic faith.
