The Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament hires lay director of administration

The Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament at Our Lady of the Angels Monastery announced Bill Brown as the new director of administration. A man of faith with extensive management experience, Brown brings personable wisdom to this leadership role. He is dedicated to the shrine’s mission of adoration and eager to imbue it into every aspect of the shrine’s day to day life. His enthusiasm to share the beauty of an encounter with the Eucharistic Lord with as many people as possible, extends the horizons for God to do great things!

Brown comes to the shrine following over forty years as a proven leader in a variety of executive roles including director of organization design, director of human resources and executive vice president of operations / chief operating officer.

As Brown stated, “My wife, Cindy, and I love the Poor Clare Sisters, the Franciscan Friars and this most beautiful and holy place. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to serve our Eucharistic Lord and His devoted servants in this way at this important time. As the U.S. Bishops open the first year of the National Eucharistic Revival, we believe that this special place can and should play a key role in rekindling the fire of Eucharistic devotion in our struggling world.”

The Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament was founded in 1999 by Mother Angelica. The shrine draws hundreds of thousands and serves as a place of rest and renewal of faith in Our Lord, Jesus Christ. To learn more about the shrine, visit olamshrine.com.
