The new officers of the Altar Society of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cullman were installed at a meeting May 19 by the pastor, Benedictine Father Linus Klucsarits. Pictured are (l-r) Delores Kisby-Green, vice-president; Kim Roberson, treasurer; Father Klucsarits; Kathy Sutton, secretary; and Carol McTamney, president. The society, which includes all women of the parish, is responsible for the care and upkeep of the altar linens, vestments, Communion supplies and candles. The women sponsor events such as Coffee and Donuts after Mass, Bunco nights, Ministry Fairs, an annual German dinner, and many other events throughout the year.
