Prayers to end gun violence continue
A Rosary prayer service for an end to gun violence was held on Saturday, June 17, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Ensley. The guest speakers were Deon Arnold, Holy Family Cristo Rey student and founder of Solutions; and Chaplain Dorothy Childress, noted evangelist and member of the Jefferson County Sheriffā€™s Department. Parishes who have hosted the prayer service are St. Mary, St. Francis of Assisi, Sacred Heart, and Our Lady of Lourdes.
