A staggering $54,000 was raised by parishioners of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, students of the parish’s school, and Knights of Columbus for the Pennies from Heaven fundraiser, which helps seminarians with educational expenses. The campaign was held during Lent and offered a great opportunity for all to pray, fast, and give alms in support of seminarians. Each of the 18 seminarians will receive a $3,000 stipend to help defray their educational expenses as they study for the priesthood.
