Prince of Peace Catholic Church parishioner Katie Langford was awarded a $750 college scholarship by the Alabama State Kouncil of Auxiliary Ladies of the Knights of Columbus (ASKAL). This award is given to two Catholic women in Alabama who are pursuing higher education or are enrolled in a trade school. Langford is a graduate of Prince of Peace Catholic School, Hoover High School, and is currently a student at Mississippi State University. She is the daughter of Stacey Langford of Hoover.
