Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church parishioners turned out for the Trash ‘n’ Treasure set up day on May 16. They worked for five hours assembling a gym full of shelving to display thousands of donations to be sold during the parish’s 76th Independence Day Festival. Donations of clean clothes, small appliances, and collectibles are now being accepted at the gym, with furniture donations being accepted under the parking deck. Volunteers will have their first sorting day on June 3 starting at 9 a.m. and more volunteers are welcome.
