Parishioners of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Homewood honored the Blessed Virgin Mary on May 4 during their traditional May Procession. At the start of the 8:30 a.m. Mass, members of the Knights of Columbus served as honor guard as men, women, and children entered the church carrying fresh flowers. The blossoms were placed before a new statue of Madonna and Child donated by a family of the parish. The statue of Mary was also crowned with a wreath of white flowers.
