About 200 parishioners of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Homewood turned out on Feb. 27 to pray the Stations of the Cross and to enjoy their first fish fry of Lent. Parochial Vicar Father Jacob Ntoko led prayers during the Stations of the Cross. Members of the Knights of Columbus prepared and served fried and baked fish, French fries, hush puppies, corn on the cob, grilled cheese sandwiches and slaw. Parochial Vicar Father Manoj Urmese prayed before the meal and blessed the crowd. Faith and fellowship were appreciated by both young and old.
