New Advocate Training
On Saturday, Feb. 28, personnel of the Diocesan Marriage Tribunal conducted a “New Advocate Training” workshop at St. John the Baptist Parish in Madison. Tribunal advocates are trained laypeople and clergy who assist people with preparing and filing their annulments or other marriage processes with the Tribunal. Their ministry is a great help to pastors, especially in parishes with an OCIA program. Over 30 from around northern Alabama, including some who were already trained but desired a refresher, participated in the workshop. More information on upcoming opportunities, including in Spanish, will be released soon.
