On Saturday, Nov. 9, two John Carroll Catholic High School students, Morgan Backstrom and Franklin Gignilliat, performed in the Alabama Symphony Youth Orchestra’s Fall Concert. The orchestra is an auditioned ensemble with the best orchestra students from all over the state. Backstrom and Gignilliat earned seats in the cello section.
