John Carroll Catholic High School senior Jean-Paul Plaisance was recently named a 2026 National Merit Finalist. He is the son of Benjamin and Moira Plaisance from Mountain Brook, and he is also a proud graduate of St. Rose Academy. Approximately 15,000 high school seniors have been named 2026 National Merit Finalists based on their application, essay, and ACT/SAT scores. The National Merit Scholarship Corporation strives to recognize and honor academically talented students throughout the United States.
