This past summer, John Carroll Catholic High School senior Stanley Stoutamire, Jr., attended the University of Notre Dame’s Summer Leadership Seminars Program. The program, held on Notre Dame’s campus, is a competitive, 10-day program for academically talented students who show impressive leadership within their communities. Only around 120 students are admitted into the program each year. Stoutamire is a graduate of Prince of Peace Catholic School. He is also a parishioner at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. At John Carroll, Stoutamire is the drum major of the Cavalier Marching Band and is very active in many Cavalier clubs and activities. Additionally, he was recently crowned the 2022 Homecoming King.
