On Oct. 3, Prince of Peace Catholic Parish hosted its annual tailgate picnic. A little rain couldn't dampen the spirit, with the church turning the rain obstacle into an opportunity for an indoor celebration. Parishioners enjoyed barbecue prepared by the Knights of Columbus, the Hispanic community's signature dishes, "dirty sodas," a beer garden, and ice cream trucks. The band GP-38 entertained everyone in the school gym, and lively Bingo games were played in the cafeteria. The kids enjoyed crafting in the classrooms and having their faces painted. Congratulations to Rachel Saggus who won the 2026 Denago EV Nomad XL golf cart.
