Local high school delves into artificial intelligence

John Carroll Catholic High School (JCCHS) recently hosted noted artificial intelligence expert, Amy Love, to the campus for presentations to students, faculty, and families. Her presence was made possible by the John Carroll Excellence in Athletics Foundation, which is working on the restoration and renewal of the campus and the enhancement of the school’s curriculum. Love is associated with Discovering AI, a non-profit organization dedicated to informing schools and families on the challenges and opportunities of artificial intelligence. Discovering AI emphasizes the importance of an AI Game Plan for teachers and families, advocating for parents and schools to establish an AI agreement, develop a readiness plan, uphold values that guide AI usage, and foster an entrepreneurial mindset.
