Ladies Altar Sodality spreads cheer

In the days leading up to St. Valentine's Day, members of the Our Lady of Sorrows Ladies Altar Sodality worked together cooking meals and packing about 100 hospitality baskets and goody bags for homebound parishioners and those in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. The meals ministry is a parish tradition and included 180 Valentine cards courtesy of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Guild. As the ladies worked on Feb. 11, parish administrator Father Kevin Bazzel surprised them with a blessing. The Altar Sodality’s six guilds are Madonna and Child, Immaculate Heart of Mary, Our Lady of Fatima, Our Lady of Peace, Our Lady of Grace, and St. Ann’s Guild.
