Knights of Columbus State Officers installed

On Saturday, June 22, the 2024-25 Alabama Knights of Columbus State Council officers were installed and invested by State Deputy Elect Bill Mores at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Hoover. The officers and their jewels of office were blessed by Father Jon Chalmers, pastor, during the ceremony that was held after the parish’s 4 p.m. Mass.

The newly elected officers are State Deputy Bill Mores of Council 11537, State Secretary Pat Jackson of Council 11672, State Treasurer Brian Lagasse of Council 764, State Advocate John Bares of Council 13152, and State Warden Andre Patterson of Council 3568.

Other key members of the 2024-25 leadership team include: State Chaplain Father Vernon Huguley of Council 7584, Immediate Past State Deputy Danny Garcia of Council 10232, State Membership Director Joe Flaherty of Council 13152, State Program Director Michael Weist of Council 11672, and Administrative Assistant Gerald Buford of Council 11537. The ceremony was attended by over 60 guests that included family, friends, and several past state deputies from around the state.
